Synopsis

Milo's dream is to become a wilderness rescuer. At 23, as a Beta, Milo's professional skills, on par with any Alpha, land him an internship at A.W., a top company in the industry. However, during a mission, he suddenly differentiates into an Omega and experiences a heat cycle. Milo uses his last strength to evacuate the wounded. While unconscious in a cave, he has relations with a powerful Alpha. The heat cycle subsides, and Milo's pheromones are uploaded to the Federation's database. Soon after, he is notified that he has a 100% compatibility score with an Alpha and will be forcibly paired with him. Jasper, during a mission, is attracted to an Omega's heat cycle and experiences a fertile period. After having relations, the Omega disappears. Shortly after, Jasper receives a notice from the Federation for a forced mate assignment. Neither Milo nor Jasper knows that fate has brought them together again, and they passively resist this impending marriage. Supporting each other in work and life, they gradually become attracted to each other's charm, ultimately transforming their contractual marriage into love. Drake held the extreme view that Omegas were livestock to be domesticated, and dedicated himself to weakening and even stripping Omegas of their social status. Milo, as the nation's only Omega wilderness rescuer, was naturally a thorn in his side. Drake collaborated with Phoenix, who was infatuated with Jasper, to persecute Milo multiple times.
