Synopsis
Princess Susanna never expected to become the peace offering for a dragon's wrath. When her fiancé, the so-called hero Vincent, beheaded the young dragon Peter, the ancient dragon William reduced Saltlake Castle to ashes. To appease the beast, Susanna was handed over to the dragon's lair. Death seemed certain. But after venting his fury, William hesitated—he remembered how this human had once been kind to his little brother. Just as a sliver of remorse began to stir, he overheard Susanna plotting with her maid to summon Vincent for a dragon-slaying mission. Enraged, William dragged her to the dungeon—only to reveal Vincent already caged inside. Desperate, Susanna begged to trade her eternal captivity for Vincent's freedom. William, despite his rage, granted her wish out of a lingering sense of guilt. But once freed, Vincent abandoned her without a second thought.
