Synopsis
Elaine, the heiress of a New Jersey dynasty, marries Garrett, a pilot of humble origins, and uses her family’s fortune to help him rise to president of the airline. Before their son Jake’s birthday, Jake is seriously injured in a car accident. Only Garrett can airlift him during a storm, but he is seduced by his mistress Mia and abandons his son to save her pet cat, leading to Jake’s death.
