Synopsis
In New York City, where the gap between rich and poor is extreme, top private art schools with tuition fees as high as $200,000 a year have long become cruel playgrounds for the children of the super-rich. The core of the story is built upon a stark class divide and the oppression of power. The protagonist, Ella Belle, a piano prodigy from a poor background who supports her studies on scholarships, becomes entangled with Liam Blackwell, the heir to the Blackwell family, through the piano. Her talent and love, however, enrage Selena Blackwell, the eldest daughter of the Blackwell family, who possesses a morbid possessiveness. Selena, in league with the Walker and Davis families, subjectes Ella to brutal bullying at school, crippling her hands and spreading rumors to force her to expel. On a rainy night, Selena pushes Ella down a flight of stairs to her death. Subsequently, Ella's mother is also run over and killed by a car driven by members of the Walker family. This murder, orchestrated by a conspiratorial group of the super-rich, becomes a time bomb that will ignite a revenge storm ten years later. Ten years later, Ella miraculously survives and becomes the second wife of Edward Blackwell, the head of the Blackwell family. She makes a powerful comeback as the matriarch of the wealthy family and takes advantage of the power rifts within the Blackwell family and the struggle for interests between conglomerates to launch an ultimate revenge that drags all her enemies to hell.
