Synopsis
Lilith, the true Caldwell heiress, was exiled with her mother and grew into the feared King of Assassins. When the Caldwells recall her to replace the fake heiress for a marriage alliance with the Vance family, she returns to avenge her mother and settle old grievances. Hiding her strength at first, she fiercely fights back against mistreatment from her stepfamily. Vance heir Lucian pretends to be a paralyzed invalid to escape his scheming uncle Malcolm. He once saved Lilith and has been searching for her. Bound by the engagement, they see through each other’s disguises and form an alliance.
