Synopsis

Seven years ago, a one-night stand changed Lily's life, leaving her pregnant and forcing her to drop out of school to raise her hearing-impaired son, Oliver, alone. On Christmas Eve, seven years later, Oliver accidentally bumps into Alexander, a famous hockey star desperate to placate his family's marriage demands. In a moment of whimsy and desperation, Alexander signs a million-dollar contract with Oliver, forming a contractual father-son relationship. Unaware, Lily is hired as Alexander's parenting consultant. As the holiday magic works on them all, a series of familiar quirks and haunting memories begin to surface.
