A Returning Astronaut Dismantles the Empire Built on Her Betrayal

Synopsis

Sylvia has spent decades balancing an extraordinary career among the stars with life as a devoted mother and wife. At her urging, her influential father gave Victor a powerful role within the family business, despite serious doubts about his character. Sylvia later discovers that Victor has been secretly involved with Sera, a young woman close to their daughter Luna in age. After coming home from a mission, Sylvia quietly attends Luna's school event at an aquarium. There, Sera crashes a luxury car into Sylvia's vehicle, then shamelessly demands an enormous payment. When Sylvia and Luna refuse to be intimidated, Sera uses the aquarium staff to assert her authority. Sylvia soon learns the venue was meant to be Victor's anniversary present to her, yet Sera insists Victor handed it over as a token of his devotion. Humiliated and enraged by their refusal to submit, Sera turns the event into a public spectacle. She forces Sylvia and Luna onto the stage during a live broadcast and threatens to send them into the shark tank. Then Victor arrives, facing the consequences of the lies, greed, and cruelty he thought he could hide from the woman he betrayed.
