Synopsis
"Zhang Yueru and Zhang Xingyi are the two daughters of Zhang Wen, the aging chairman of the prestigious Qingya Conservatory of Music. He promises to bequeath the institution to whichever sister gives birth to an heir first. Eager to secure her inheritance, Zhang Xingyi marries quickly in hopes of having a child ahead of her sister. However, Zhang Yueru, who never intended to compete for the conservatory, unexpectedly spends a night with Gu Beicheng and gives birth to a son, Tuantuan, before her sister. Consumed by jealousy, Xingyi secretly discards the infant! With neither sister raising a successor, Zhang Wen demands that both adopt boys from an orphanage. Whoever prepares their adopted son to pass a musical evaluation will inherit Qingya Conservatory. To everyone's surprise, the child adopted by Yueru outperforms Xingyi's, driving Xingyi to such fury that she takes both their lives in a final, fatal confrontation.
