Synopsis
When Ethan Hill discovers his wife Sophie Dawn has non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, he deceives her into believing he's the one who's sick and decides to sell their house to cover her treatment. However, Sophie, overwhelmed by the costs, considers giving up on treatment while becoming entangled with her ex-boyfriend Kevin Howard, sparking numerous conflicts that ultimately lead to their divorce. After the divorce, Sophie learns that she is actually the one with the illness, but by then, her investment funds have been swindled, and her family refuses to help. Meanwhile, Ethan finds success in his career with the support of Clara Rivers and prepares to remarry. At the wedding banquet, Sophie arrives to disrupt the ceremony.
