Abandoned by Them, Claimed by Poseidon
Synopsis
The year the apocalyptic flood came, I was twelve. Each household was allotted three spots on the ark. I drew the winning lot, but my parents tore the boarding bracelet off my wrist and put it on my younger sister Daisy's. They always favored her. I thought fate had finally chosen me, but they abandoned me once again. They lied and said a second boat would come for me, that I could swim. When the flood swallowed me whole, I finally understood: there was no second boat.
