After He Broke Her Heart

Synopsis

Elena enters the powerful Howard household in New York as a replacement for Chloe, the woman connected to her late brother-in-law James. For seven painful years, she and her little girl Luna suffer Chloe's cruelty and Ian's constant hostility. On Luna's birthday, Elena hears her husband Alexander admit that Chloe is the woman he truly wants. She finally understands that her marriage was built to hide their shameful attachment. Alexander repeatedly chooses Ian over Luna, and his reckless delay after Luna is struck by a car leaves the child without her leg. Devastated, Elena divorces him and starts over with Luna in a struggling Miami community. Too late, Alexander recognizes what he destroyed. When Chloe abducts Luna, he risks his life to save them, while a paternity test exposes Chloe's long-buried deception. Presumed dead, Alexander secretly protects Elena from afar. Two years later, Elena has transformed S and L into a thriving empire. Discovering Alexander survived, she demands the truth. He accepts a role beside her and fights to deserve another chance, until forgiveness leads them back to each other on a Miami beach.
