Emily Harris was eight months pregnant. Robert Harris had his wife, Margaret Harris, take care of Emily's daily needs. Margaret Harris felt that Emily was bringing her bad luck because of what the midwife had said. She had never liked Emily Harris since childhood, preferring her eldest daughter, Sarah Harris. Even though they lived with Emily Harris, she still made Emily Harris wait on her. Emily Harris, heavily pregnant, cooked for Margaret Harris. Robert Harris frowned and told Margaret Harris to help Emily Harris and stop doing nothing. Margaret Harris told her to stop nagging. Robert Harris received a call from the hospital and left.
