Synopsis
Six years ago, Arthur, the heir to a top Wall Street financial empire, gave up a 100-billion-yuan fortune to marry Evelyn, a woman from a commoner background, and went into hiding under an assumed name to become a stay-at-home dad. Six years later, Evelyn’s first love, Christian, returned to the country. Not only did she take away their daughter Chloe’s spot at an elite school and give it to Christian’s son, but she also drained the joint trust to buy Christian a villa and even cut off her daughter’s life-saving medication. With Chloe on the brink of death, Arthur’s desperate pleas fell on deaf ears, and he was instead humiliated. In his despair, Arthur rediscovered his true identity, rallied his family’s forces, and launched a thunderous revenge. He regained custody of his daughter, liquidated the Mercer Group, sent Evelyn and Christian to prison, and ultimately rebuilt his family with Victoria—who had always stood by him—becoming the trueruler of the financial world.
