Synopsis

The story He Said I Was Playing Dead tells the tragic tale of Melissa, an abandoned wife from a wealthy family, and her journey of revenge.​ Born into the prestigious Tar family, Melissa went against her family's wishes to marry Oliver when his family went bankrupt and faced endless ridicule. She poured all her financial resources and connections into helping him rise to power, even sustaining severe injuries to save him once. Shrapnel remained in her heart, planting the seeds for a terminal illness.​ After achieving success, Oliver's twisted pride led him to blame all his past humiliation on Melissa.
