Back Off, The Hollywood Empress Returns

Synopsis

At 45, Hazel was the true heiress of the Hayes family, a legendary Hollywood entertainment dynasty—lost 40 years ago. The Hayeses doted on Serena, the impostor who had held her place for 40 years, while treating Hazel as an aging extra doing odd jobs on small sets and mocking her husband as a prop handler. In truth, Hazel is the only lawfully wedded wife of Julian, hidden head of Apex Media, the world’s largest film and media group. Her son Leo is an Oscar-winning superstar; her daughter Sienna, an Ivy League AI and computer science prodigy. After returning to the Hayes family, Serena and her biological mother framed Hazel and Sienna—accusing Sienna of stealing an antique diamond brooch, fabricating a casting-couch scandal, and secretly diverting family assets. Each time, Hazel and her children crushed them with superior intellect and Apex’s entertainment empire. When the Hayeses sacrificed Hazel again to court Apex, she cut ties. In the end, Serena’s asset theft was exposed and she was abandoned by all. At Hollywood’s top anniversary gala, Hazel revealed the truth as the wife of Apex Media’s head, rising as Hollywood’s No. 1 queen.
