Betrayed, I Went Solo
Synopsis
Martin Clay was a born "mountain goods boss." He teamed up with his own uncle Fred Clay to sell mountain goods, agreeing to split the profits 50/50. In one year they made 3.6 million—but Fred only gave him 5,000, called him a "dirty ginseng digger," and humiliated the whole family. Fed up, Martin decided to go solo. His parents and girlfriend Jenny Carter put up all their savings to back him. With 5,000, he bought an old horse and second-hand gear, went into the mountains, and used his top-notch skills to find a premium "Blood-red Nail" that sold for 700,000. He then met Mr. Mercer from Summit Ridge Holdings, built a harvesting team, and contracted Tiger Ridge. After losing Martin, Fred kept failing—equipment destroyed, beast attacks, workers injured—and was finally taken away by police for illegal hunting. Martin founded a mountain goods company, became a multimillionaire, won the city's Top Ten Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs award, married Jenny, had kids, and led the whole village to prosperity.
