Synopsis

"Three years ago, Anne, the daughter of a New York judge, forced a contract marriage with William, a Wall Street upstart, using the promise to drop a state court investigation as leverage. Now Anne’s father, John, has been reported and imprisoned. Faced with a million‑dollar bail, Anne turns to William for help, but he cancels her credit cards and instead publicly flaunts his affection for Ivy League socialite Eleanor in Manhattan.
