Billionaire Dad: My Ex's Worst Nightmare

Synopsis

Arthur, the Pentagon's top commander known by the codename "Ghost," returns after completing a three-year top-secret mission and wants nothing more than to leave behind his billion-dollar trust and supreme power to retire as an ordinary father. But he is shocked to discover that his greedy ex-wife Sarah has not only bribed officials to forge his death certificate and swindle a massive insurance payout, but has also locked their biological daughter Lily in a dark, freezing basement like a dog, subjecting her to horrific abuse. Enraged, Arthur forgoes simple violence and instead unleashes a "legal" revenge of devastating proportions, drawing on his formidable intelligence network and ten-billion-dollar offshore capital. In an instant, he empties the black-money laundering accounts of Sarah's current husband, forcing the desperate couple to resort to cross-state child trafficking; with irrefutable evidence, he sends the bribed judge, the Child Protective Services director, an arrogant Wall Street CEO, and a corrupt state senator all to maximum-security federal prisons. After reclaiming his daughter, Arthur sets aside his murderous edge and reveals the utmost tenderness. He buys Lily a golden retriever to heal her trauma; to shield her from bullying, he casually acquires an elite academy outright with full funding; and when the President issues a compulsory recall order demanding his return to the battlefield, he decisively hangs up on the Pentagon's red hotline just to do arts and crafts with his daughter. In this quiet suburb, no one knows that the gentle father smiling as he grills burgers in the backyard is an invincible war god who could crash Wall Street with a snap of his fingers.
