Blood Diamond

Synopsis

Clara, a botanical identifier, was accidentally infected by a parasitic black thorn during an expedition. The thorn fed on her blood, turning the pain of each wound into a flawless red diamond. Her husband Arthur, his mother Martha, and sister Lily discovered her secret—and their humanity vanished. They locked her in a cellar. Whips, blades, and endless cruelty. They bled her dry, one scar at a time, until she died. Then she woke up. Alive. Back to the moment before the infection. This time, she knew exactly how it would end—and who would do it. She secretly fused her blood with the thorn’s remnant, taking full control of its power. She decided who would be infected, how many diamonds would form, and when. She made sure the thorn pricked Lily’s wrist. When the first diamond fell from Lily’s wound, Arthur and Martha’s eyes lit up with greed. They tied their own daughter to the iron rack—and began the same horror Clara had died from. Lily screamed. She tried to escape. She tried to point at Clara. But Clara had already silenced her voice with a quiet dose of poison. Diamonds came. Debts grew. Arthur’s cruelty escalated. Lily died. Then Martha touched the thorn. Arthur turned his blade on his mother. Clara watched from the shadows, cold and calm, as the family tore itself apart. When Arthur had drained Martha to the last breath, Clara called the police. They found blood, diamonds, and monsters in human skin. She walked out of the estate into the sunlight—free at last. The black thorn still lived inside her. But this time, she was its only master.
