Blood Moon Betrayal

Synopsis

LOGLINE A half-blood hunter who spent twenty years hunting the monster that destroyed her family learns the monster is her own father, and the only way to save the world is to embrace the blood she was raised to hate. SYNOPSIS For a thousand years, werewolves and vampires have been sworn enemies, and Elena, a half-blood hunter, has lived for one purpose: revenge. Twenty years ago her family was slaughtered, and she believed Valerius, the feared vampire, ordered it. On a rain-drenched night she finally corners him, blade ready. But when her blood touches his skin, everything shatters: Valerius is her father, enslaved for two decades by an ancient blood contract that commands his body while his mind screams helplessly inside. The true villain is Malachar, the thousand-year-old Senate Speaker, who wants to use her rare pure half-blood to tear open the abyss and become a god. Her mother did not die in the massacre; she staged it to hide her daughter and now hangs cursed in a blood prison, forced to fight her own child. To end the nightmare, Elena must unite the wolf clan and the vampires, survive betrayal from her closest friend, and watch the man she loves become a soulless puppet. As the blood moon rises, only she can seal the abyss forever, by sacrificing her power, maybe her life. With Kael, who destroyed his own immortality to protect her, and her father, who stands alone against an army to buy her one more minute, she charges into the final ritual, knowing only a half-blood can end what a half-blood began.
