Synopsis

Lena, a time traveler who champions equality and freedom, refuses the polygamous marriage proposal from noble Julian. She chooses to marry a loyal, monogamous civil servant, longing for a simple and peaceful life. When the dynasty collapses, her husband sacrifices himself to defend the country. Tragically separated from their young son, Lena is imprisoned by Julian, who seizes power and ascends the throne. A prolonged psychological struggle unfolds between the two in the confined palace. Biding her time silently, Lena spreads ideas of liberty and firmly rejects Julian’s oppressive control until her death. Bound by his desperate obsession with her, Julian spends his entire remaining life in endless remorse and pain.
