Cheat on Me, Get Fed to Fish

Synopsis

Kate Lockwood (Charlotte Rich), a self-made woman and New York’s youngest top-tier female billionaire, is the current head of Voss Global Group. She is low-key and reserved, never seeking the limelight. She drives a Porsche that appears ordinary but is actually a one-of-a-kind Sonderwunsch Factory One-Off worth tens of millions of dollars. Her husband, Kendall, however, is a complete gold digger—on the surface, he appears completely devoted to Kate, but in reality, he relies on her resources to pose as the CEO of Voss Global Group. He deceives his mistress, Lila (who has no idea she’s the other woman or that Kate is the woman she’s with), and even secretly steals Kate’s Ferrari to impress Lila. Lila drives Kate’s Ferrari to the Palisades Mall to buy a handbag, eager to show off her “wealthy boyfriend” and luxury car to her friends; Kate also drives to the mall and happens to run into Lila in the underground parking garage. The Palisades Mall is owned by Voss Global Group, and Kate has a reserved parking spot there. and parked her car there as usual. However, Lila, believing her boyfriend to be the CEO of Voss Global Group, assumed the reserved spot was rightfully hers. She immediately scratched Kate’s car and demanded that Kate leave the spot, sparking a heated dispute over the parking space. Seeing that Kate was driving a Porsche with a low-key exterior, Lila assumed it was just an ordinary model. She went out of her way to humiliate Kate, mocking her as a “penny-pincher,” and even demanded compensation for the time wasted and the parking space taken. She also boasted that her luxury car was a gift from “Mr. Kendall.” At first, Kate didn’t want to make a fuss. She explained repeatedly that she had claimed the spot first and that it was her designated spot, asking only for fair compensation for the damage. But Lila took advantage of the situation, exaggerating and slandering Kate as a blackmailer. She even took out a baseball bat and smashed Kate’s car, threatening to have “Kendall” deal with Kate. Kate had had enough and revealed her true identity. Just then, Kendall received a call from Lila and rushed over. The moment he saw Kate, he panicked, completely exposing his true colors as a freeloader.
