After an environmental apocalypse poisons every food source in the wild, animals can survive only by fighting over scraps discarded by humans. Three desperate kings of the forest—a tiger, a lion, and a leopard—venture into a human neighborhood, only to find themselves under the paw of Muffin, a plump, pampered house cat. In exchange for safe food and a comfortable home, they sign a contract and become Muffin's apprentices. Their training? Cuddling, acting cute, and charming humans as they strive to become the best "cats" they can be. When the trio discovers that the contamination was no natural disaster but a scheme engineered by a purification company to profit from selling its "antidote," they must choose between the comforts of life as pets and a dangerous mission to save their forest.
