Crimson Vows
Synopsis
Shen Li was married to Fu Chi for three years, forced to become a "mobile blood bank" for his first love, Gu Feifei. Believing that Gu Feifei required Shen Li's rare blood type to survive, Fu Chi repeatedly coerced her into blood donations, even forcibly drawing blood during her pregnancy, which led to a miscarriage. In reality, Gu Feifei had long recovered, and her deteriorating condition was entirely fabricated. After discovering the truth, Shen Li asked for a divorce, but Fu Chi blackmailed her using her brother's debts to force continued donations. She was also framed by Gu Feifei for "betrayal." Eventually, Shen Li died from excessive blood loss during a donation. Only after finding her diary did Fu Chi learn that she was already terminally ill and that the blood donations had hastened her death. Devastated, he imprisoned Gu Feifei, using her blood in a daily act of "atonement."
