Synopsis

Eddie, a Wall‑Street professional from foster care, craves the warmth of a complete family. He constantly yields to his wife Scarlett’s Saul family, covering his in‑laws’ living expenses, supporting his two brothers‑in‑law’s housing and entertainment, and pre‑paying a $1‑million down payment for a luxury villa to fund their lavish lifestyle. At Christmas dinner, Grandma Matilda gives costly gifts to every boy in the family but snubs Eddie’s young daughter Polly. She publicly insults the girl and allows grandchildren to throw food at her. Furious, Eddie cancels the villa down‑payment, places the money in Polly’s trust fund, and cuts ties with the Sauls.
