Synopsis
Zhang Wei dies suddenly and transmigrates into the game world of The Great Sage Contravening Heaven. He happens to be recognized by Sun Wukong as the person of destiny and receives a strand of primordial power. Following the clues, he learns that the Great Sage wreaked havoc in Heaven after foreseeing a future where gods and buddhas deceive all living beings. On Mang Mountain, the protagonist meets Meng Jiang, obtains the legacy of the Six‑Eared Macaque and three secret treasures, only to discover that he is an anomaly of the Heavenly Dao and will be erased after seven days. Only by infiltrating Li Jing’s mansion and retrieving the treasure inside the Linglong Pagoda can he conceal the will of Heaven and embark on a journey to Mount Ling to destroy the Heavenly Dao covenant and save all beings.
