Synopsis

Full of hope, newlywed Chloe starts her honeymoon with husband Derek, unaware of his deadly plot. Buried in debt and greedy for her trust fund, Derek drugs her water and bribes an airport mechanic to stage a fatal plane accident. After taking the drugged water, Chloe feels sick, and the flight returns as planned. She accidentally overhears Derek’s conspiracy at the airport. Staying calm, she calls the police and works with plainclothes officers. Police seize the drugged water and collect solid evidence. Derek tries to deny everything, but witness statements, encrypted emails and insurance records prove his guilt. He is finally convicted and sentenced in court. Moving on from the nightmare, Chloe founds support groups to help victims of relationship abuse and drug assaults. She speaks up and promotes related legislation. From a lucky survivor to a caring guardian, she grows stronger and uses her experience to protect more people.
