Synopsis

The female protagonist, Blair Nash, suffers from a mental illness and has been institutionalized in a psychiatric hospital for ten years. That is, until she encounters a therapeutic comfort doll. With the help of its healing properties, she finally recovers and is discharged. Her doctor advises her that with the New Year approaching, she should go home, be with her parents, and live a normal life. However, upon returning home, she discovers her parents are being bullied by their malicious neighbor, Danny Reed. Blair tries to intervene and protect them, but her parents stop her, fearing an escalation of the conflict. After seeing the recovered Blair, Danny has the audacity to demand she marry his foolish son, Drew. Blair's parents firmly oppose this, but Danny, leveraging his local influence, constantly pressures them to comply. He even goes so far as to control the grain trade, threatening Blair's parents that if she doesn't marry Drew, they won't be able to sell their grain. Blair's father, Roger, refuses the deal, resulting not only in unsold grain but also in Danny trashing it and leaving the place in a mess.
