Synopsis
After caring for her husband, who was paralyzed from the waist down, for three years, Carlyle went to interview for a position as a maid at a manor to pay for his medical treatment. Unexpectedly, the manor’s owner, Fiona, mistook her for an emotional support worker and subjected her to domineering seduction and sexual assault. However, for the sake of the high salary and to pay for her husband’s treatment, Carlyle reluctantly agreed, leading to frequent flirtatious encounters with Fiona. But Claire never dreamed that the husband she deeply loved wasn’t actually disabled at all—he had been using the money she’d painstakingly saved to support his mistress! Completely devastated, Claire divorced her scumbag husband. As she spent more time with Fiona, she discovered a gentler side to her personality, and gradually, a different kind of affection began to grow in her heart. Her ex-husband had racked up massive gambling debts and, in an attempt to pay them off, even went so far as to kidnap Claire. It was precisely because of this that Claire realized the person who had always truly cared for her was Fiona! She began a relationship with Fiona, which drew her into the power struggle between the Ryan Group and the Aus Group. Faced with Bruce’s threats and temptations, Claire resolutely chose Fiona, and in the end, the two found each other and lived happily ever after!
