Five Love Lines of Fate

Synopsis

Li Fan, a security guard with a very low salary, goes on a blind date but is humiliated by the arrogant woman Yang Lijuan for his poor background. As she pours water on him and leaves, Li Fan reflects on why he's been single for thirty years and why his love life has been so difficult. Just then, the God of Marriage, Yue Lao, appears and reveals that in his past life, Li Fan was the Boy of Good Karma serving as Yue Lao's assistant. However, due to his playful nature, he cut the marriage lines of five women and was punished by being sent to the mortal world to face trials.
