Framed by My Stepmother, I Got Pregnant With the Crown Prince’s Child

Synopsis

Vera, true daughter of Count Aiken, is reduced to a servant by her stepmother Hilda the moment her father dies. At a royal banquet, Hilda drugs Vera with an aphrodisiac to sell her to a drunken noble for a hundred thousand gold. Vera escapes and hides in a dark chamber, where she spends one night with Crown Prince Sebastian, then flees through the window, leaving a shoe behind. Sebastian vows to find the woman it fits and make her his bride. Vera returns home pregnant; Hilda wants the child aborted, but her stepsister Reyna suggests keeping it—as a permanent mark of shame. Five years later, Vera bears a daughter, Molly, and both labor as the estate's lowest servants. At Duke Voss's banquet, Vera is sold to an old duke; fleeing, she collides with Sebastian, but her frostbitten feet cannot fit the shoe. Then Molly runs out wearing the sapphire pendant Sebastian gave Vera that night—his royal token. Reyna discovers the truth and breaks her own toes to force the shoe on, posing as the mystery woman. The Queen names Reyna crown princess.
