Synopsis
Kevin and his cousin Jerry co-founded a restaurant. After it earned a 4.9 rating on Yelp and topped Manhattan's hottest restaurants for months straight, Kevin was forced out by Jerry, who humiliated him with $20,000 in cash and replaced him as head chef with Kevin's own sous chef, Jeffrey. Kevin used his savings to take over a shuttered Corner Restaurant directly across from Central Avenue Restaurant. Jerry, driven by quick profits, turned a blind eye to Jeffrey's kickbacks and his use of repeatedly thawed and refrozen, spoiled beef and foie gras—causing the restaurant's reputation to collapse overnight.
