Synopsis

A thousand years ago, the world was divided into three realms: the Mortal Realm, where mortals dwell; the Moonlight Divine Realm, bathed in silvery radiance; and the Abyss, shrouded in black mist. The people of the Mortal Realm have worshipped and paid homage to the Moonlight Goddess Aurelia for generations. This goddess, who governs the moonlight of the world, once created the Abyss Wolf Clan with her own hands and gave birth to their leader—the Abyss Wolf King Moros. While the mortal girl Xina and her mother were offering sacrifices to the Moon Goddess at the Red Moon Altar, Moros, the Abyss Wolf King, appeared. Moros slaughtered the entire village solely to force the Moon Goddess to appear and compel her to acknowledge her love for him. Xina’s mother was slaughtered by Moros while trying to protect her. Xina wept and begged the Moon Goddess she worshipped to bring down divine retribution, but Aurelia stood by idly, consumed by her own obsession with “love.” Overcome with grief and rage, Xina vowed to slay the goddess! Three years later, she disguised herself as a “deeply devout” follower of the Moon Goddess and, in her mortal form, became the vessel for the Moon Goddess’s divine essence. Step by step, she drew closer to Moros, the Abyssal Wolf King—the very man who had once been in love with the Moon Goddess and who had personally destroyed her happy life. Through carefully orchestrated seduction and scheming, she slowly pried open the heart of this wolf king who had lived for a thousand years. In the end, Xina obtained three god-slaying artifacts, and Moros even willingly offered his heart to her. Xina personally slew the ancient goddess Aurelia and ascended as the new deity.
