Synopsis
In the holy realm of Olympus, the demigod guard Leon ventures alone into the forbidden abyss of Tartarus to help the goddess of wisdom, Athena, break the shackles of law and ascend to a primordial god, enduring the burning river Phlegethon to obtain the Golden Apple of Immortality. Upon his return, he catches the divine servant Silas stealing the Mirror of Fate and is instead framed by him for theft. Athena and three priestesses, without investigating the truth, drag Leon to the judgment square, strip his divine power, and summon the Mirror of Fate to extract his soul for a public trial. The mirror replays his three hundred years: to save a poisoned Athena, he went deep into the frozen wasteland and was saved on the brink of death by the Titan goddess Cress; he risked his life to pick the frozen narcissus and entrusted it to Silas, who claimed the credit; he received only five low-grade divine crystals each month and endured three years in the forge of the fire god to dispel the cold poison; he went to the poisoned marsh of Lerna to gather magic vines, only for Silas to intercept them. All his suffering stems from Silas's greed and the priestesses' favoritism. Before the full truth emerges, Silas escapes, pollutes the Mirror of Fate with the Curse Stone, gravely wounds Athena, and attempts to seize divine power. Athena sets aside her pride as a chief god and goes to the wilderness to confess and beg Leon for help. Though disillusioned, Leon still acts to protect the laws of the world.
