Synopsis

Beneath the glittering lights of a modern metropolis, citizens remain oblivious to an ancient, shadowy threat lurking in the dark. Unclear in origin and mysterious in nature, these creatures strike almost exclusively at night, leaving centuries of destruction in their wake. They are known as Taboo Entities. Matthew Mason, an ordinary college freshman, finds his entire worldview shattered when a freak accident pulls him straight into a supernatural incident, opening the door to a hidden world. As a rare survivor of a Taboo Incident, Matthew inadvertently absorbs a Spirit Core, becoming a one-in-a-million Nightwatchman. Recruited into Team Centra, he joins a four-member core squad to fight against these otherworldly forces, embarking on a perilous series of encounters with terrifying entities bound by bizarre rules and extraordinary powers...
