Synopsis
Liza, the daughter of a California mafia family, blindly trusted her husband Jack because of love, only to find out on their wedding anniversary that he was cheating and plotting to kill her and her father to seize the family fortune and mafia power. Liza hires top assassin George as her bodyguard and starts setting things up. She fakes her death at first, then comes back to slap Jack in the face when he’s acting like the loving husband. Next, she uses arms deals to set traps with her best friend and her senior, tricking Jack into selling all his assets to buy her family’s property and the mafia power symbol, the Eagle Brand—which turns out to be just an empty shell, leaving Jack with nothing. Jack goes on a crazy counterattack, but with George’s help, Liza manages to defeat him. Through this whole process, Liza and George develop feelings for each other and eventually end up together.
