He Said I Was Faking. I Was Already Dead.
Synopsis
My boyfriend and coach, Logan, said I was faking it and locked me inside a 122°F equipment shed. He had just seen my blood‑clotting diagnosis the night before—and deleted it. Blood seeped under the door. I died. My spirit watched everything: Madison lying, the school burying complaints, my mother smashing the door open. Eighteen months later, Mom scattered my ashes across a sunflower field and said, "Mom believes you." Finally, I could leave.
