Synopsis

Valerie Moretti, the godmother of the New York underworld, died trying to save a girl who fell from a building, but her soul ended up in the body of the girl, Jessica Miller. Jessica is the adopted daughter of the Miller family, long falsely accused of bullying by her adoptive sister Kelly, while her adoptive parents Robert and Margaret are cold and harsh toward her. Facing yet another false accusation, Jessica slaps Kelly in public and declares she wants nothing to do with her. Her loyal aide Jack Callahan arrives with people and recognizes the reborn mob boss. Valerie decides to leave the underworld behind and return to school to prepare for college. On her first day in high school, she deals with the bullies and drives away the school tyrant, Ella Foster. But in class, her poor student habits show, and she can't even do basic problems. Brittney's father Harold, relying on a deal with the Vito family, forces Jessica to kneel and apologize. At the critical moment, the three big figures of the Moretti Group—Jack, Alexander, and Tom—storm in and bow to Jessica, calling her 'boss.' Jessica's adoptive parents are so scared they go weak in the knees and try to claim her as their daughter, but Jessica coldly rejects them. Her brother David checks the surveillance and finds out that it was Kelly all along who was bullying Jessica. The whole family regrets it, but Jessica refuses to forgive. Classmate Allen was sold by his gambler father to mob boss Bill. Jessica sneaks into a dark alley late at night and calls the three big figures in front of everyone. Scala laughs at her for being overconfident, but the three arrive with people and bow before Jessica. Scala gets taken care of on the spot, and Jessica rescues Allen and his mother. In a math competition, Kelly cheats and gets zero, while Jessica, relying on guessing techniques and mnemonics, scores 97 points, ranking first in all of New York, earning a recommendation to Elliston. Robert publicly announces he is cutting ties with Kelly. When the Miller family finally discovers through surveillance that Kelly was the real long-term bully, it’s too late. Kelly gives the whole family sleeping pills at the dinner table and sets a fire, but Jessica leads people to save the Millers, repaying the care she received, and walks away. In the end, she earns a direct entry to Elliston Business School as the top student in her school, while the Miller family watches her leave from their hospital beds, regretting it for life.
