His Mistress Slapped My Daughter, So I Took Back My Family's Empire

Synopsis

To the outside world, Clara is the perfect wife of Marcus, CEO of Meridian Pharmaceuticals—a devoted homemaker who has spent ten years raising their daughter Mia while her husband built his empire. But the empire was never truly his. The cracks shatter on the day Mia, beaming with her Harvard acceptance letter, bursts into her father's office—and finds Marcus locked in a kiss with his assistant, Selene. The mistress slaps Mia across the face. Marcus doesn't move. He doesn't say a word. The red mark on her daughter's cheek ends Clara's decade of silence. She calls Marcus with one demand: make Selene kneel and apologize within the hour. He laughs at her. He has no idea who he's married to. Clara holds a dormant equity trust agreement—55% of Meridian's shares, with a sole beneficiary that was never Marcus. And Vincent, her father and the company's founder, "dead" for ten years, has been watching everything from the shadows. Clara moves with surgical precision: she seizes control, ousts Marcus as CEO, and exposes the $130 million he siphoned into shell companies for his mistress. His lies, his bribed employees, his carefully spun media image—all collapse. Selene comes crawling to apologize; Mia, with heartbreaking grace, refuses her forgiveness. Marcus's mother, Helena, furious at losing her son's empire, takes a knife and grabs Mia—and in the chaos, she kills her own son. Clara walks out of the wreckage as chairman of Meridian, steers the company to record growth, divorces Marcus, and raises Mia alone—the woman who fought like a queen to protect her princess.
