Synopsis

Sera Blackwell, 21yearold 17thgeneration heir to the Blackwell vampirehunting family, lives undercover as a history undergraduate. In the end, she steps into the fissure and discovers that The Slumbering is a human sacrifice entombed alive three centuries prior. Instead of strengthening the seal, she shatters it and sets the tormented soul free.
