I Buried My Parents, Then Lived With Them
Moments after her bitter phone call ended their lives, the grieving daughter was confronted by her parents' younger, time-traveled selves at their funeral.
Synopsis
"Overwhelmed by work stress, Mary snaps and yells at her parents Sasha and Mark over the phone. Moments later, she receives devastating news — her parents have died in a car crash, triggered by her bitter outburst. Grief‑stricken, she collapses at their funeral, only to be confronted by her young parents, who have somehow traveled through time. Sasha and Mark are convinced they have time‑traveled, yet remain skeptical that Mary is their daughter. Mary has almost no family photos, a result of their strained relationship. Believing fate brought them here for a purpose, the young pair decide to stay and look after Mary, and the three begin living together. Clueless about modern appliances, Sasha and Mark create countless hilarious mishaps and even land Mary in trouble. As days go by, though they still doubt Mary’s identity, they fly into a protective rage whenever she gets wronged. Without valid IDs, they live as undocumented outsiders. Mark turns to the underground world for money, while Sasha chases her long‑forgotten dream. Just as their life stabilizes, they meet a witch. She warns them Sasha and Mark do not belong in this timeline. If they linger, time will unravel — and Mary may cease to exist. After many hardships, they find a way to send the couple back. Returning means they will lose all their memories, and still face their fatal car accident. Though once indifferent toward their daughter, Sasha and Mark choose to go back, refusing to let Mary vanish. They share a tear‑filled goodbye. Mary returns home, only to hear her elderly parents call out her name."
