I Fell For My Ex-Fiancé’s Stepmother

Synopsis

Scarlett, on the eve of her engagement banquet, is drugged and set up by her fiancé Julian. After escaping desperately, she accidentally ends up with Julian's stepmother, Eleanor—the actual head of the Astor family. Eleanor, who suffers from extreme touch aversion, is somehow not allergic to Scarlett and is drawn to her unyielding spirit and talent, secretly helping her time and again. At the engagement banquet, Scarlett publicly plays footage of Julian and her sister Tiffany's affair, decisively calls off the engagement, and returns to the Astor Group as chief design consultant. At an international design competition, she reveals her identity as the genius designer "Rouge," wins the championship with stunning work, exposes Tiffany's plagiarism, and sends her to prison. She also discovers that it was Eleanor—not Julian—who saved her from the fire years ago. Together, they expose Richard's crimes against underage girls. Richard goes bankrupt and to prison; Julian ends up on the streets picking trash. At a Paris fashion show, Scarlett's brand achieves massive success. Eleanor publicly hands over the family reins and kneels with a pink diamond ring, proposing to Scarlett. The two embrace a happy ending.
