Synopsis

Elena, an executive at a refrigeration company, installed a central air conditioning system for an old apartment building free of charge to repay her neighbors for saving her father Miguel's life. However, after enjoying the cool air, the neighbors, unwilling to pay the electricity bills and wanting to monopolize the facility, continuously made unreasonable demands and even tried to force Elena to remove all the equipment through collective decisions. After Elena legally dismantled the equipment, the neighbors found themselves in trouble during the extreme heat. To save money, Clara and others privately bought substandard portable air conditioners, and illegal wiring caused a fire in the circuit, forcing a power outage for the entire building. In the end, the neighbors recognized their responsibilities in the disaster, publicly apologized, and purchased air conditioning services from Elena at a high price. Elena also learned that, when her father had collapsed years ago, the only person who truly saved him was Rosa, and she ultimately regarded Rosa's share of the fee as a reward for her kindness.
