Synopsis

At seventeen, Ethan has long been tormented by the voice of a strange man in his mind, fearing he is losing his sanity. His family seeks medical help to no avail. At school, he is bullied by classmate Troy, but repeatedly finds protection from his brother's friend Damian. Ethan feels an inexplicable familiarity with Damian, and the voice in his head grows clearer. Troy reveals the truth, and Damian finally confesses: he is a werewolf, and Ethan is his fated mate. The bond of the moon transmits his thoughts into Ethan's mind; he kept it hidden only to protect him. Ethan breaks down and cuts ties, and after losing the bond, his body and mind wither. His father witnesses Damian's transformation and mediates, leading Ethan to finally accept him. From then on, Ethan integrates into the pack, confronts his bullies, and, under the moonlight and with his family's support, comes to understand that the whispers in his mind were never an illusion—but a love that transcends species.
