Synopsis

"Forensic lip-print specialist Sophia Reyes, nicknamed “Lipstick Hunter”, is transferred to archives after her expertise gets labeled marginalized. With archivist Lena’s help, she uncovers cold cases hidden in old files. She finds a missing lipstick evidence from a 1998 murder stashed by lab director Victor Klaus, who turns out to be a serial killer targeting women wearing Flame Red lipstick every seven years. With her retired forensic mom’s aid, Sophia secures Klaus’s lip-print sample, whose 99.7% match proves his guilt. Teaming up with detective Weber, she lures Klaus into confessing and arrests him. Later, they uncover 20 victims total. Sophia’s efforts push the state to pass the Sophia Act, standardizing lip-print identification and fixing evidence loopholes. She trains new forensic staff, honoring all forgotten victims and devoting herself to uncovering silent truth concealed by lipstick traces."
