Synopsis

After six years of marriage, Marlie Lambert is diagnosed with a brain cancer. Hoping for comfort from her husband, Dr. Paul Cooper, she visits his hospital—only to be coldly turned away with the words: "All patients must queue and register." This heartless dismissal becomes the final straw that breaks her heart. She prepares one last meal for him and files for divorce. Paul dismisses it as another petty argument, unaware that his wife is dying. Having long harbored feelings for his white moonlight, Cathy Dixon, Paul had always treated Marlie with indifference, viewing her devotion as mere duty.
