Magic Queen Comeback

Synopsis

At the highly‑anticipated Rating Tournament of the magic realm, prodigy girl Isolde basks in glory thanks to her best friend Gloria casting spells for her behind the scenes. Unknown to everyone, Gloria is the true blood heir of the legendary sorcerer. She hides her identity for friendship’s sake and even financially supports her mediocre boyfriend Caleb. On the eve of the tournament, Gloria stumbles upon the affair between Isolde and Caleb, along with the harsh truth that she has been manipulated all along. She resolves to stop being anyone’s shadow. During the first round of the competition, she severs their soul bond and humiliates Valeria in public. Furious and humiliated, Isolde turns to dark magic. She sets multiple deadly traps in subsequent matches, yet these schemes only push Gloria to unleash her god‑tier power time and again from desperate straits, stunning the entire audience. Watching over Gloria in secret is her childhood friend R. They grew up side‑by‑side but drifted apart after Gloria began dating Caleb. He comes to her aid several times throughout the tournament, and tangled feelings rekindle amid the perils. On the finals night, Isolde conspires with the Dark Magic Guild to launch an attack. Her plot is foiled by the joint efforts of Gloria and Roscoe, and she ultimately perishes from magical backlash. Gloria claims the highest magic rating. Both sets of parents urge her and Roscoe to marry pre‑arranged strangers. The two fiercely oppose the arranged marriage inside the sacred temple, and Roscoe publicly proclaims that he loves only Gloria. It is at this moment that they are shocked to discover their glowing palm marriage‑contract marks have long been bound to each other. After all schemes and darkness, they turn out to be fated soulmates.
