Synopsis

A senior architect, Monica, inherited an ancestral old house and decided to turn it into a bed-and-breakfast. However, her husband Alan forged her signature to mortgage the property and cover his investment losses, leaving her saddled with massive debts. Determined to pay off the debts on her own, she ran the homestay named Maple House with dedication. The place gradually became a spiritual haven for troubled women, where guests shared their troubles and healed one another. Monica also created a shared space for women and compiled their stories into a book. When her ex-husband schemed to seize the property, she dealt with it calmly and finalized their divorce. Through all hardships, Maple House gained widespread fame. Having walked out of the shadow of her failed marriage, Monica lives a peaceful and independent life with her daughter in this house full of memories.
