Synopsis

She grows up in a rural village, with a mother suffering from Alzheimer’s disease whose memory is fading day by day. Brilliant in both character and academics, she is admitted to the nation’s top university to study finance, hoping to give her mother a better life. Yet reality crushes those dreams. In the workplace, she is constantly suppressed for having no background, unable to secure a permanent position. As her mother is on the verge of forgetting her entirely, she is pushed to the brink—until she crosses paths with him, who has been drugged. After they spend the night together, she unexpectedly receives her confirmation notice at work. Hating herself for believing she traded her body for her career, she begins avoiding him at the company, only to find their entanglement growing deeper. When he learns that she is two months pregnant, he takes her home and switches into full “devoted husband” mode.
