Synopsis

Masters of the Chongshan Mountains is a 40-episode period legend drama set in the Xiangxi Miao frontier. Set against the turbulent backdrop of China in the early 20th century, it integrates intangible Miao martial arts, chaotic-era love and hatred, as well as loyalty to family and country. Rooted in Miao villages of the Wuling Mountains, the series follows the intertwined fates of three Miao youths — Alian, Xiongqiang and Dawang — spanning thirty years.
